Wildlands Adventure Zoo Emmen | In WILDLANDS Adventure Zoo Emmen you will travel through the jungle, the savannah and the polar region. As a true explorer, you will discover new worlds, be face to face with wild animals and experience exciting adventures.

The animal park is divided into 3 climate zones; Jungola (the jungle), Serenga (the savannah) and Nortica (the polar region).

Jungola | Decide for yourself how you will discover this mysterious and green world full of beautiful animals and exciting adventures. High in the sky, via towers, rope bridges and - who knows! - an unexpected encounter with a gibbon. Get on the boat across the Rimbula River and get very close to acrobatic spider monkeys and imposing elephants. Or you can just walk on the path through the jungle. Your tour takes you through the Elephant Valley on the riverbed to the overgrown Butterfly Temple on the outskirts of Jungola. Be careful not to get lost in the Bamboo Maze and…. keep your head cool on the Koppensnellerspad. Jungola: An expedition full of surprises and adventure.

Serenga | Adventure, nature and culture, you will find it all in Serenga. Step into the Serenga Safari and explore the vast savannah with its giraffes, rhinos and other animals. High on the Lion Mountain, the king of the animals is watching you. In the distance looms the abandoned Arena, once built by human hands, which is now the preserve of the baboons. In this world you really get close to the animals. Look deep into the eyes of a five meter long giraffe… or a 50 cm long meerkat. Your journey will take you past dancing hippos under water, right through the area of the funny prairie dogs. Meet the residents of the Dogon village and try your luck with the gold miners. Serenga: An unforgettable experience!

Nortica | With this expedition you will dive into a world of rugged rocks and cold coasts. Meet animals that have adapted perfectly to life above and below water. Here nature is the boss. Your journey begins in the harbor, where you will see the fur seals and sea lions darting through the water. The route takes you straight through the habitat of the penguins. Watch out: the animals have right of way! In the Polar Station you can observe the impressive polar bears above and under water. Help the researchers and take the dizzying 4D test ride through the Arctic with the Arctic 1… but only if you dare. Nortica: A world to discover!
