Halls

Halls | There is no such thing as ‘impossible’ whenever it is a reception, wedding, congress, meeting or event at Abdij de Westerburcht. You will find this the right place for all your wishes. The building consists of multiple small and large characteristic halls and conservatories with a total capacity of more than 400 people. You will be surprised by the many possibilities we offer. The guarantee that everything can be arranged on one location.

All halls are designed to the appearance of ‘Abdij de Koningshoeven’ (a brewery where Trappist beer is brewed by monks) in Berkel-Enschot. Expect to see many stained glass fixtures, oak floors, classic décor, torches on the walls and wall paintings.

Additionally, all halls have mood lighting and functional lighting (with dim possibilities) and air conditioning.

Abbey Hall

The Abbey Hall is the largest hall and has, if demanded, the possibility to be reduced in size. This characteristic room is decorated with wall paintings, torches on the walls, stained glass fixtures and oak floors. It also has air conditioning. Moreover, this hall is (depending on the alignment of the tables) appropriate for 200 people.

The Chapel

The elements that make this hall so special are the beautiful bows, smoothly plastered ceiling, wall paintings and stained glass fixtures. Depending on the alignment of the tables, the chapel has room for 80 people. It also has air conditioning.

The Conservatories

Also in the conservatories, the symbolic elements of the monastery are visible. You again find torches on the wall, wall paintings and stained glass fixtures. The building consists of three conservatories of which two can be closed off. Depending on the alignment of the tables, the conservatories have room for 30 people. The conservatories consist of air conditioning.
